Dr. Andreia W. White has spoken on online streaming platforms, podcasts, and at various church, community organization, and school events. She is one of the doctors featured in the 2020 special edition of the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Magazine. Dr. Andreia was also interviewed by Authority Magazine. As a board certified family medicine physician, she has served in the outpatient clinic setting, nursing home, and in telehealth.
We had the pleasure of having Dr. White as a guest speaker for our high school career exploration day. She was an amazing speaker who was able to connect with our students and really engage with them in a meaningful way, via zoom. She was able to provide a realistic and honest depiction of how life happens and how to still achieve your goals, even in the face of adversity.
Dr. White was able to answer all of the students' questions, and her enthusiasm and energy was infectious. She was able to relate to the students who come from Title 1 schools and was able to outline how to be successful. It was truly inspiring to see how she was able to challenge and encourage the students to think beyond their current circumstances and strive to achieve their goals. She spoke about the importance of health not only for the students but of their families, why it is important to be a healthcare provider, and how she balances all of her roles.
Dr. White was an amazing guest speaker, and I would highly recommend her to any speaking event. She was engaging, inspiring, and a true example of how to overcome and achieve great things. Highly recommended!
